Watchability

Every game gets a score from 0 to 100 answering one question: how much should a neutral fan want to watch this? Two things drive it — how good both teams are (using efficiency ratings, not just records or polls), and how close the game projects to be. A great team blowing out a bad one scores low. Two good teams in a coin flip scores high. Ranked matchups and championship stakes add a bonus on top.

• 80–100 · Must watch — clear the schedule.
• 60–79 · Worth watching — have it on if you can.
• 40–59 · On the radar — could sneak up on you.
• 0–39 · Background — scoreboard-watch material.

The chaos meter

Watchability tells you which games are good. Chaos tells you whether the weekcould get weird. We count “landmines” — highly ranked teams in genuine toss-ups, the games most likely to produce a memorable upset — and grade the Saturday from BORING to ANARCHY. When the meter runs hot, keep your afternoon open.

Rivalries, favorites, and hate

The biggest rivalry games are always surfaced regardless of the math — records don’t matter in The Game or the Iron Bowl. Follow your teams and their games are always in your feed. And if there’s a team you can’t stand, mute them: we’ll hide their scores entirely — unless they’re losing.

Live alerts

Turn on alerts and we’ll ping you when a watchable game gets tight in the fourth quarter, or when a big lead starts evaporating. Once per game, no spam, and never about a team you’ve muted (unless they’re losing — we figured you’d want to know).
